Tides & Currents on San Francisco Bay 

Winter time is the best time for learning to ride the tide! If you want to paddle a sea kayak on San Francisco Bay, our Tides, Currents & Rough Water classes are the best way to improve your skills. Dates and start times are chosen for optimal tidal conditions! Due to the astronomical nature of the tidal cycles, the Tides classes are only offered during fall and winter months.

Upcoming dates: January 24, 2009; February 8, 2009.
Cost: $109 (includes kayak and all gear)

Rancho Cordova Rolling Classes


  

Rancho Cordova Pool Schedule

Roll classes in Rancho Cordova are taught at the heated INDOOR POOL of the Paradise Cove Aquatic Center next door to CCK on Thursdays from 7PM to 9PM; actual duration in the pool is about 1.5 hours. Rolling classes are FREE after completing our Rapid or Full Immersion 4-Day and 5-Day courses: no charge until you get your first unassisted roll. 
 Practice Only Sessions: $12 pool fee with your own kayak. $22 whitewater kayak rental (includes pool fee). Call (916) 851-3600 to reserve a boat for practice; space is limited!

 Richmond Pool Sessions (Bay Area) will be closed for the Holidays. First Session of the New Year will be January 15th.
