Paddling under the full moon is enchanting! Typically the water is calm and glassy on the Oakland Estuary at night and the city lights and sounds add to the ambiance. We enjoy a leisurely pace as the sunsets and the moon rises, illuminating a delightful evening.

Cost $89.00 includes kayak, pfd, paddle, paddling jacket, spray skirt (when required), and guide.

Oakland Sunset Tour: Jack London Square (Oakland)Susnet Paddle

Sunset kayaking is an enchanting experience. The water often turns glassy and calm on the Oakland Estuary late in the day, and twilight adds to the unique ambiance. We'll enjoy a leisurely paddling pace as the sun goes down, setting the stage for a beautiful evening on the water. Weather depending, we'll paddle towards the mouth of the Oakland Estuary, or towards Coast Guard Island, taking in the quaint sights of this nautical community. You'll stay warm and relatively dry in our cozy double sea kayaks, too.

 SUP Journey Treasure Island to Jack London Square

Come join expert SUP instructor Jeff Burton for SUP paddle from Treasure Island to Jack London Square on the Oakland Estuary. Learn about tides, currents, trip planning, communication, and safety. We'll meet at CCK Oakland store and shuttle to the island. Launching from the north point to enjoy spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay. We'll paddle under the Bay Bridge and into the Oakland Estuary with assistance from the flooding tide. This is an excellent first foray into open water paddling on a SUP board, and the perfect prerequisite for more advanced trips in the future!

About your instructor: Jeff Burton is a certified Level 2 SUP Instructor. Jeff has many years of teaching and enjoys all levels from beginning to advanced. His passion is downwinding and can be seen on a windy day in Tomales Bay the S. F Bay or way up the North Coast.

Bair Island & Corkscrew Slough Tour (Redwood City) - Coming Soonblair island

Join us for an exploration by Kayak of Bair Island Reserve and Corkscrew Slough! Launching from the public boat ramp on Redwood Creek in Redwood City, we cruise through a paddler's paradise of intimate waterways and tidal marshes within the Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge. Our experienced instructors will keep you safe, get you on and off the water efficiently and show you a good time.

Location: Chesapeake Drive boat ramp, Port of Redwood City

Cost: Cost is $79 per person. Includes kayak, pfd, skirt, paddling jacket paddle and guide.

Duration: Times vary depending on the tide, but usually the tours will be in the morning with a high tide.

Time on the water: Approximately 3 hours

Prerequisite: No previous experience is required for a double kayak; Beginning Sea Kayaking for a single kayak. The minimum age for the Bair Island & Corkscrew Slough Tour is 5 years old. (an adult may paddle with a child in a double kayak); children under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Lake Natoma SUP Tour (Rancho Cordova)

Do you want to paddle a Touring Stand Up Paddleboard but not sure how to begin? Come try out SUP Touring with our Lake Natoma Expert, Brian Weber. The goal for this tour is 

Natoma SUP Tour

to practice SUP paddle strokes and learn about touring boards while checking out the wildlife and scenery along the way. We focus on flat water skills and safety. Great exercise and fun! More questions? Please call 510 893-7833, we'll point you to the right person.  

Cost is $59.00 (Normally $89.00) *(Minimum Enrollment: 4)*
Includes SUP, PFD, Paddle, & SUP Leash. Advanced Boards are Available upon request

Location Lake Natoma, Willow Creek Recreation Area Access Parking is $10.00 at State Park.

Prerequisite: Some SUP experience is required; however, good physical condition is required to assure an enjoyable experience. The minimum age for the class is 14 years; children under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You may paddle up to 5 miles during this trip.
