Jack London Square, Oakland:

The beautiful Jack London Square location steeped in maritime lore is situated along the scenic Oakland/Alameda estuary and rentals are available year round. Paddlers can launch from our dock in a no wake zone and explore all that the estuary has to offer. Take a cruise around coast guard island or to the Alameda bridges. The estuary brings together recreation, waterfront dining and outdoor artistic events all year round. Willow Creek State Park:

Willow Creek on Lake Natoma is a beautiful easily accessible part of Folsom Lake State Recreation Area and has various access points for outdoor activities. Lake Natoma is the smaller and more serene section of Folsom lake and is a favorite spot for passive water sport enthusiasts. Extensive river bluffs can be observed from Willow Creek and the trails south to Nimbus Flat have been identified as a National Natural Landmark. Kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard rentals are available to explore the rich history of gold mining and bird watching – a year round activity. Fall and Spring is migration and Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake have up to 80,000 wintering gulls and some waterfowl. Great blue herons, egrets and double-crested cormorants begin setting up breeding territories and stay until August. There is a parking fee of $10 (or annual CA State Parks pass); no ranger is in attendance so please bring exact change. CCK does not provide change for parking. Willow Creek onsite rentals are not limited to full day take away rates.
From the East: (Placerville, South Lake Tahoe) Take Hwy 50 exit at Folsom Blvd. (Just after Prairie City Rd.) Get in the left turn lane at the end of the off ramp. Make a left onto Folsom Blvd. Heading east on Folsom Blvd. At the third major intersection, Blue Ravine Rd., make a u-turn, you are now heading west on Folsom Blvd. Look for the Willow Creek State Park access on the right just before the next intersection. It is hidden so keep a look out! (Hint: when you see the sign for the Sacramento Light Rail, get ready to turn)
From the West: (Bay area, Downtown Sacramento): Take Hwy 50, 20 minutes east of Sacramento to the Folsom Blvd exit just past Hazel Ave and AeroJet. Take a left off the ramp heading east on Folsom Blvd. At the third major intersection, Blue Ravine Rd., make a u-turn; you are now heading west on Folsom Blvd. Look for the Willow Creek State Park access on the right just before the next intersection. It is hidden so keep a look out! (Hint: when you see the sign for the Sacramento Light Rail, get ready to turn)
